A Mid-Summer's Eve

A Mid-Summer's Eve

June 24, 2018

Join us to create a lush, seasonal floral arrangement in celebration of the popular Scandinavian holiday, Mid-summer's Eve! Traditionally observed on June 24, Midsummer pays homage to the Summer Solstice, with flowers being at the forefront of this beautiful celebration.

During our two-hour workshop, you will be guided through the process of creating your very own floral masterpiece, with detailed instruction on flower care, design fundamentals, and working with colour.

When: Sunday, June 24, 2018

Where: The Ingrid Rose Micro Studio, 1575 Jasper Place, Victoria, BC.

Time: 3-5pm

Skill Level: Beginner

What to bring: In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we ask that you bring the vessel of your choice. This is what you will create your centerpiece in and it can be anything from a salvaged/recycled glass jar, to a lovingly used ceramic or glass vase. When choosing your vessel, make sure it's made out of a material that can accommodate water comfortably. If you have a pair of garden pruners/snips, feel free to bring those as well. If you don’t have snips, not to worry, extras will be available.

Locally-grown Summer blooms, materials, refreshments + light snacks provided.
